Cheerson CX10-WD propellers no longer spin

Hello forum. I was excited to fly my CX-10WD the other day using my FPV goggles. It had been sitting in a drawer for a couple of years without use. I charged it up using my laptop and tried to fly it conventionally first to calibrate and trim it before using the FPV goggles. It started up perfectly and flew but obviously needed some calibration and trimming before use. However, after one very small crash, I can't get the propellers to spin anymore. When I do the start procedure with the controls, I get a slight rotation with the blades but they never start spinning. Is something damaged or is it a procedural thing? I can't figure it out. Please help.

If you have precisely followed all the procedures and diagnostics in the operation manual and checked the drone (& controller) battery voltage, my first guess would be a loose connector internally, or maybe a battery contact loose or corroded.
Also check for software updates (if applicable).

I discovered many useful things from Youtube videos about my Eachine E58 which were not covered in the operation manual.
You will find several Youtube videos on the CX-10WD, probably one of the expert reviewers can give specific help.
