Checking Motor rotation

Hi
How can I check my motor rotation before I totally assemble my quad. I am using T-motor MT2216 and T-motor AIR 40 esc's. I tried using a servo tester on the esc to the motor but my esc only has two wires a signal a + wire. The motor just beeps when try it which according to the instructions means that I am missing a signal. Is there any other way to test this. I don't have my transmitter yet, its on backorder.

Hi mate the only way is to power the ESC from a lipo and plug esc lead into the throttle channel on a receiver , be care full not to sort leads

Thanks for the info, I will try that, don't want to make a mistake and burn something out.

Make a lead to go from battery to ESC power leads , check the leads are right before plugging battery in

Thank you for your time and knowledge, I double checked my wiring to the ESC's, I had the signal lead to signal and the other lead to pos. which should be neg. once I changed that, they all worked, now I can test the motor rotation, thank you again, greatly appreciate it.
