zMy reason for creating this thread is to ask if this will work. This is based off of this build by CrashTest. I added; FPV Goggles, Changed the camera module, and added a receiver.

Questions:
Will the receiver work with this transmitter?--- Found a Receiver that would
Which video format should I use for the camera module? --- Found that goggles support both,
does the receiver care?

Range: Appears to be approximately 0.6 of a Mile (I do not know for sure), though you could upgrade it greatly with a high Gain antenna or boost it significantly with a $89 5.8g 1w repeater.

If you get this combo you don't need to get a Tx, DIPswitch or Camera $22..99

I recommend this complete FPV setup if you have $200.00 to spend, you can get it a little cheaper from other places if you look.

If not then you can get this full DIY setup. $99.99
Power supply to transmitter(on UAV)
DC-DC adjustable step down (regulator)
Option 1 (Prefered) Option 2
$6.51 or $3.57

1000mAH 11.1v 3s Battery from Hobbyking (you could pull power from the main battery providing voltage is within step-down's ability)
Chose this big of a battery because I needed 9-12 volts for the camera, and only 3 for the transmitter hence the step down Theoretically you should get 30-45 minutes from this battery, could upgrade to a 3000 3S 20C battery. Which should last longer that your flight time.
$4.81

EDIT

After shipping and everything the final cost came to 108.89, you can get almost the exact thing for $99.99 form hobbyknig (link). The link does not come with the battery, but is all of the work worth saving $10 or so.
