So I'm building a 130 lantian bif.
I have already a supply of pocket rocket 20a esc's which I believe are a re brand of spedix ES20. I have been running them on a 220 frames with emax RS2205 & cyclone V2 props.
What I can't find any info on is the KV these are rated for. I have never had one break on me except for a crash.
Does anyone know if these would work with 3800kv motors or maybe 4500kv
For the 4500kv I think I will just get a 4in1 20x20 mm esc. But would I get away with the 3800kv on them esc's.
Top notch esc's I'm not buying anything else @ the moment. Thank for any input.

Hi ESCs are not kv rated just amps
KV is the rpm of a motor per 1 volt put in ,so your 3800 will 3800 rpm with 1 volt of battery

Thanks for the reply. I thought I read something a while ago saying that high KV motors require different esc's to keep up with timing or with the magnets & stators. I found some info today saying best setup for that esc, is 22xx size with 5" props. I probably did read this when I bought them. I don't really want to spend £40 on a 4in1 esc. If one goes it's wasted. & I know these are bulletproof. So your saying as long as it doesn't exceed the amps & it fits on the quad, its ok? Specifically the frame & esc below. & these should run emax Rs1106 on any KV motor. IMG_20170929_173938718-1024x575.jpg
