Can I use my RC for the new drone?

Hello,

few years ago I bought a drone (DJI F450) and a remote controller (Graupner MX-12+GR-12 HoTT 2,4GHz).

I recently started spending a lot of time in flying simulator (Liftoff) and now I decided to start flying a copter again, but this time I want to fly FPV.
I did already a bit of research and thinking of buying following copter:

Can I use my remote controller - receiver set (Graupner MX-12+GR-12 HoTT 2,4GHz) ?, instead of buying
  1. TBS Crossfire NANO RX +29USD
  2. RadioMaster TX16S Mark II 2,4 GHz 16 Kanal EdgeTX Radio Transmitter Mode 2 (ELRS mit Hall Gimbals) ~+200Euro
If not, why so?

I think you should make sure that your remote controller and receiver are compatible with the components you're planning to use.

The Graupner MX-12+GR-12 HoTT 2.4GHz remote controller and receiver set operate on the 2.4GHz frequency, while the TBS Crossfire NANO RX and RadioMaster TX16S Mark II operate on different frequencies. This means that the Crossfire and RadioMaster systems may not be compatible with your Graupner set, and you may need to use a different receiver.

That being said, it's worth noting that the TBS Crossfire system is highly regarded in the FPV community for its long-range capabilities and reliability. If you're planning on flying long distances or in areas with a lot of interference, it might be worth considering investing in the Crossfire system, it might be worth considering investing in the Crossfire system.

Your Graupner MX-12+GR-12 HoTT 2,4GHz is vintage, probably won't work with a modern flight controller although you could ask the manufacturer.

I highly recommend the radiomaster but get the one with a 4in1 multi-protocol internal module and get the tbs xfire external module and receiver. You'll be able to use almost any receiver in existence with that set up, I think it even has HoTT protocol.
