Binding a Taranis to a Blade 350 qx3

I have setup a Blade 180 BNF on my Taranis transmitter. but when I try and bind my Blade 350 qx3 it just sits there blinking the bind light on the quad at me. I have held the button on the Spektrum DM9 module until the orange light go's out to releasing the button when it starts flashing. I have deleted all mixes except the flight mode switch. Setup is the same as the Blade 180. Reversed channels 2 &4 + the flight mode switch. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated Thank you

Hi mate power up the quad so the light is flashing then let it initialize then hold the quad upside down till the led flashes Blue this is bind mode then place it back down on level surface , hold the bind button on the orange module and while its held turn on the transmitter once the quad is bound your get 3 bleeps from the quad

Thank's holtneil for the reply. I get the blue light but it won't bind with the Taranis transmitter. The quad will bind with the supplied DX4 & the DX6i that I have been using with the quad. I can bind the Taranis with a Blade 180 but not the blade 350 QX3 ?

Thats strange what protocal is the orange module Dsm2 or dsmx

Hi mate this is interesting this guy removed the spektrum module from a dx4 and fitted it to a trannis , so your be able to do this with the module from a dx9 or dx7
