BetaFPV Cetus(please help!)

Hello, I just purchased a BetaFPV Cetus(brushed) and I have been flying it for a while now and I put in a new battery. It was the original one. Then the back motor was not thrusting or speeding up. It arms but when I press up on the left stick the drone just flips upside down on the ground because just the front motors and the back left motors are speeding up. To confirm the back motor is arming. If I press all the way forward on the right stick and up on the left stick it will take off and go forward slightly but when I let go of the right stick it just starts flipping and falling because the front motors are working correctly and the back one is spinning slowly I checked both back motors for hair, carpet, ect. but there was nothing. I was just wondering if you knew how to fix this. Thanks! This is the brushed version of the Cetus. I have not had any magor crashes either.

Could be of of many things:

1. Props on wrong

2.bad motor

3.accelerometer not calibrated

4. Firmware issue

5.hardware issue

Plug into betaflight and calibrate accelerometer then make sure motors are responding correctly in the motors tab.

Hope this helps!

Yes, Thank you! It does help. The props are on right, and the motors are good. I do not think that the betafpv Cetus has beta flight unfortunately. I will look at the accelerator and see if that is it and thank you for your help!

Oh yeah also some of those toy grade drones had a way of recalibrating the gyro. I think I recall doing this to my syma x8c way back in 2016. You turn everything on and hold both sticks down and to the left or something then it beeps or lights start blinking or something telling you the gyro is calibrated.

Oh, sweet, Thanks I will try that and tell you if it works. I am looking to return this and get a new one ans soon upgrade to a little better drone(my fav drone too) the mobula 7 1-2s
