banggood

I ordered a hubsan quad from banggood. Processed my payment on the 20 of May and said they sipped on the 24 of may. I haven't received it yet.....What do you think?

What country are you in? What shipping method did you pay for? I'm in the US and certain shipping methods from China can take six weeks sometimes - especially when things get caught up in customs. If they shipped Swiss Post or HK post or Singapore Post or whatever, you're probably okay waiting a bit longer. If they shipped it some other "premium" method, like Fed Ex or any air shipping method really, you might start worrying at this point. My guess is that it will eventually show up.

Thanks....I am for now, giving up. Lost 50 bucks. I have ordered from England, France, and Germany, and have received products in less than 2 weeks. Ebay here I come.

I order from overseas a lot too, but it always seems like one out of five or so times I order from China with the base shipping option offered, it takes forever.... and when it shows up, the box is usually all torn apart and has been taped back up multiple times along the way. Good luck!!

I'm always nervous when I order from China. I haven't been screwed yet but I'm careful about ordering something that's too pricey in case it gets lost.

just an update on my bangood experience......Very bad. I am thankful it was only 50 bucks. I cannot believe that with the technology today that they cannot, at the least, provide accurate tracking. It has been since the middle of May that I placed my order AND they TOOK my money. They have been quick to answer emails, but, it has always been....."Wait a few more days" . They have finally told me they would refund my money but will take 2 to 4 weeks to show up on my account. Unbelievable.
On the bright side I did get what I wanted from a store in California. Hubsan quadcopter. Fun to fly. Not too expensive. I think I am ready for a bigger quad. One that can carry my gopro. I am think about getting a Drone Storm 4.

I'm glad you got the Husban and you've been able to fly now! Honestly, I know how you feel with the original situation, but I also expect that type of stuff to happen, so it doesn't bug me too much when it happens to me or I hear about it. You get what you pay for and those prices are good enough to take the risk usually! Also, I honestly think they will return your money. I do a lot of business with these companies in China/Hong Kong on both a consumer level as well as buying parts wholesale and they do business a lot differently than most. The customer service is always straight to the point and sometimes very harsh. They don't QA much of anything and pretty much each batch of wholesale parts I've ever received has had multiple units with obvious defects that could have easily been caught (usually with the naked eye). Then the shipping is very inconsistent and it's hard to even tell which is the best option when it comes time to choose a carrier. And when stuff shows up, you realize they used the cheapest packaging possible and your packages have been taped back up by the carrier many times along the way - sometimes there isn't even much cardboard left. Or they don't even show up... but because you're supposed to expect 4-6 weeks for shipping, you have to wait forever before they will refund you.

But in the end, I can tell you that the majority of those companies actually aren't out to rip you off and they care about their business a lot and want their customers to be happy. They just have a weird way of going about it. In my experience, they have always made things right (although they act like you're their only customer that has ever reported an issue to them).

Again - you get what you pay for =)
