Well I couldn't hold off any longer and after reading all the reviews I could find I decided to go with the Arris X speed 250B. Word is Arris also has very good customer service which was a big factor after reading that dealing with Eachine customer service can be a nightmare.

I'll let you guys know how it works out. Probably going to have to wait another payday or two before I can afford to setup the FPV system though which is a bit shitty but such is life lol.

Just got it all hooked up and took it for a test flight. It's way faster than I thought it would be. Something wonky is going on with the at9 though, the g toggle switch seems to be all out of order. When it should be in lock mode it's actually self leveling, In self level mode it was acro and in the acro position it seems to be locked?

When I turned off the at9 the drone went nuts also, scared the poop out of me because it happened right as I went to unplug the battery. I don't think it was getting enough juice to lift off but unplugging the battery proved tricky as the damn props were spinning. I won't be surprised to find out I did something wrong when I set it up so I'm definetly going to have to do some more reading.

Overall though I'm pleased with the maiden voyage.

I wish, can't afford the FPV system I want until next paycheck. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have it setup. I'd rather get a good one to grow into than a lower end one I'll just end up replacing.

Flies absolutely amazing. Had my first wipe out yesterday when my finger slipped and put the radio into safety Mode and it dropped out of the sky like a rock from about 40 feet or so onto concrete. Camera popped out of place and one other tiny component broke loose but as far as I can tell it was held down by double sided tape so I just stuck it back down. I am happy to say that it still flies like a champion. When it hit the concert I was sure it was going to explode into pieces but it sounded absolutely solid and I don't even think it bounced. Only have two or three scuff marks that are barely noticable.
