I was wanting to build a quadcopter that is pretty agile and able to handle a cameras weight also when needed.I have been looking on youtube and really liked a SIMPLECOPTER.COM v-tail wood kit for $40 bucks. How much of the $135 would it take too finish off the electronics or would it be more? I looked on ebay at some of the kits that includes the motors , props and wiring for around $125, are they worth it?I like the simplecopter.com v-tail because they walk you through every step, would this be my best pick?

If you like the simplecopter v-tail, I'd say go for it. It's a nice build and I hear the guy that runs that site is pretty supportive. Only thing is that it might be a bit over budget (but not too much)

He give some suggestions there as to which components to buy.

Is your budget firm, or can you go a little higher if necessary? Also - when you say $175, does that include Transmitter & Receiever, or do you already have a transmitter?

Lastly - which kit are you looking at on Ebay? Some kits are pretty decent for the price, but others are crap. Link to it here and I'll take a look at it and let you know.

Hi mate sorry to but in thats the hobby king x525 i had one, the frame is ok arms will snap in a crash , but they will on lots of quads, but can you get spares where you are , if thats what you want buy from hobby king will be cheaper and built it your self , the motors are ok they fly well but shafts bend in a crash so you may land up replacing a motor or 2 .The FCB is the kk black board its ok harder to set up and you will need a pc to to it ,so what you need to do is save on some parts and this will let you spend a little more on motors etc to get better parts
I see its a kit so your going to have to build it any way so it give you an idea of frame price etc here are some links
