Are the larger drones easier to fly?

I've started with an Hubsan Q4 H107. Quite frankly it flies like the proverbial bat out of hell. The controls are very sensitive, and the wee quadcopter is FAST.

Now I find myself "lusting" for something "bigger & better" such as a DJI Phantom 4 or Inspire - something akin to "Bill & Monica" in intensity but without the cigars .

How do the flight characteristics of these larger quadcopters compare to the much smaller Hubsan?

The larger are much easier to fly. They are not so quick to respond to stick movements, and are much more stable.

The p4 flys itself. Super stable and very easy to fly.

Thank you! I shall stay with my Hubsan "hornet" until I have mastered it before moving on up in size.

If your into aggressive free style type flying your Hubsan "hornet" is for you. If your into top quality video with very lazy flying abilities then the P4 is for you. They are two very different units.

The p4 is an awesome aircraft. You will not regret it. I have had mine over 50mph in atti mode so you can get decently aggressive if you want to

Most of the newer aircraft have flight controllers that offer flight modes that make them easy to fly. Or you can build one as well. For example,I built a Parallax Elev-8 (see my avatar) and put an APM 2.6 flight controller/autopilot on it. It is easy to fly - with Loiter, Stabilize, Alt Hold modes as well as others. As you become more experienced you can fly in Acro mode.
