Looking for a first quadcopter. Under $200. Apparently all the ones I was considering I cannot buy bc the iPhone XR doesn’t support 5G WiFi. Any suggestions? Want decent pics/videos.

Try a quad that does not use another device but has its own controller and screen. There are several to chose from,

I was literally just looking at that one. Can you discuss pros to having the screen on the transmitter? I think the screen is small, can’t see as much. Sure the quality of SD card might be better but isn’t it more convenient to just have it saved to the phone? If it weren’t for the screen I’d probably pull the trigger on this one honestly.

I actually prefer the screen on the transmitter. I have the 906 transmitter which has a smaller screen than the 901. Even with my old eyes I have no issues. To me it is more of a convenience all one package. Soft screen keys are a PITA to me. I just prefer Hard keys and buttons.
My DJI Phantom uses a phone and it took me a while to find a compatible tablet. I hate to think what happens if it decides it is no longer compatible in mid-flight LOL OUCH!
