Adding "GPS" to mini drone

After a recent incident where I lost my Hubsan X4 H107 and it either went down in some trees or a lake, I am looking for a way to add a relatively inexpensive GPS to my next unit, until I can upgrade to a nicer drone that has it built in. So far, here are some possible options I have found.

1) Tile: https://www.thetileapp.com/

2) Trackr Bravo: http://www.thetrackr.com/bravo

Does anyone have experience with these, or can someone suggest a small light weight add on GPS for a Hubsan X4?

Downside to these looks like they aren't "true GPS" in that you have to be within you Bluetooth LE range (approx 100ft) of the "tag" for it to work, but it will show you your last known location until you can get to that point.

Thanks for all the help. Just getting into quadcopters and loving it!

All these gps tracker for smartphones work only via bluetooth so chances are that they will always lose signal. So they are practically useless for what you need them for
