I have build a couple of racing quads in the past and I am now going to tackle an autonomous build. I have these Sunny sky motors and two different ESC's Racerstar 20a 4 in 1 and Emax simonK 30a ESC's. I am wondering what ESC will work better for this build? I have also heard that the simonK esc's do not work as well with lower kv motors. I would prefer to use the racer star since it is a 4 in 1 so it will be a bit cleaner. I will be using 10 x 45 props on 3s 2000 mah batteries.

In case anybody is wondering about this I have figured out that APM does not support BlHeli, BlHeli_S or BlHeli_32. So standard / Simonk ESC's are needed.

Simonk are just basically calibrate only esc's. I'd say go with these as no acro involved. Not sure but you may still be able to use blheli esc's with APM just not configure them in like in passthrough as normal. Simonk run wing models better than blheli do with lower kv motors. They just could do with calibration every few Lipo's as the clocks
Get out of sync.

Do you have any documentation or somewhere I could find how to use BlHeli?
