1st Build, Need Help!

My friend is having me build him a quadcopter so I can film him and his buddies kiteboarding. His only requirements that he had for it is that it needs to be completely waterproof, have a decent flight time, and be able to carry a go pro and film stably. I've worked up a list of parts so far that I think will work. If there is anything that I'm missing or something better that you would recommend, please do so! Thank you all for your time!

Boscam isn't GoPro! Did you mean "GoPro-like"? And if you just put some long thin wide-spread legs with foam floats on it, you don't need it waterproof -- saves you about $700 right there! If you get salt water in the motors, it won't work out well, so "waterproof" isn't a total solution anyway.
You could use a NAZA lite, or even an KK2 controller and save another $200 or more. Since you're not using the Boscam power gimbals, you can get almost any other camera and top mount it on an H-quad, or stick with the Boscam, but it's not GoPro so why not shop other non-GoPros?

Yeah, I've seen them. It's still $849 of your "build" money. Unless you want to take videos an inch or so under the water, you can float on the surface for a lot less $$$.
Loading everything into that waterproof frame makes everything harder to access and service. Every time you open and close it, you'll have to dink with gaskets and seals.

yes your right but just an idea , just fit floats to the under side of the arms this will keep it afloat till you can get it back , they make them for scale helis , look at rc aerodyne they do scale heli parts
