new quadcopter tips tricks esc motor quad awg

i just got simon k 30 a esc's and i want to know if the awg needs to match from the ESC to the motor i currently have dys 1806/2300 and i am aware it has a max amp of 7.6 .. should i re-solder the entire ESC or is there a way for me to program them in clean flight to not output a sertant amount...
