    Video Editing MP4 Drone Videos

In your opinion, is the Hitfilm 4 Express better than WMM? I'm looking for a good video editor, but I'm not quite ready to shell out several hundred to get a super pro version.

    What first drone to buy

Also, I see your budget as borderlining on being able to buy something really good. If you don't think you can afford one now, you may consider waiting a little while. But, seriously, think about the lightly-used drones that can be found on eBay.

    What first drone to buy

My advice is to look on eBay for a lightly-used Phantom. It doesn't necessarily have to be a super new one either. I guarantee you that you will be impressed if you buy a DJI. You can also look at the Yuneec drones, though they are fairly expensive. If I was in your place, I'd try to get a...

    AQ-600 Quadcopter components

Oh, another great motor is the Multistar Elite 2216 920KV. You can get a set of them here (on sale on HK) - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=74759 (This is a good deal, as it comes in a 4pc kit, and all are perfectly matched.) While we're on the topic of power...

    AQ-600 Quadcopter components

For motors, these are a great deal on sale - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tiger-Motor-MS2216-11-900kv-Standard-Motors-/321831558655?hash=item4aeea7ddff:g:rhcAAOSwd0BVzH4T (Tiger motors are always good, especially for this price. Just be sure to get 2 CCW and 2 CW).

New to FPV! Need help with setup :-)

Welcome to the forum, Justin! Well, the FPV cam should be powered from the transmitter board once connected, so pretty much all you need to do is connect the transmitter to the PDB. To do this, just cut the JST (small red) connector off at the end, strip and tin the red and black wire, then...

    Hobby King Cyber Sale!

I'll do that! GearBest promised to send me a CX-20 to review, but they never ended up sending it. SO, I guess I just had to have one! ;) I have lots of drones of all types already, but at that price... well, I just couldn't resist!

    Hobby King Cyber Sale!

I was able to get in on a Quanum Nova RTF package for only $160 with FREE SHIPPING from the US-East warehouse (unusual from HobbyKing), which is actually the cheapest, by far, that I've ever seen it anywhere. Go check it out! They may still have some left! ;) Here's the link to the Nova -...

    So how did it go?

    Hex to powerful? or not

Is your GPS configured and working properly? If not, it may be sending the wrong signals to the FCB.

I'd personally go for the WL toys V686G.

    What charger?

Check this balance charger out, its quite a deal at under $20 (shipping should be cheap enough as the weight will be pretty low): http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=70651

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

Oh, yeah. Guess I didn't look to close on the ANART. The Xiaomi would be a very nice option though, it gets great reviews, and appears to be built very well.

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

The cameras I linked to do record in 1080p, 60fps, and are all good options. The cameras you listed are both nice, and would make great options also, but unless you specifically need Wi-Fi capability, I'd recommend buying one in the $40 range without it, such as the ANART.

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

The Nova or CX-20 GPS is not very good, so if you want good position holding, I don't recommend it. To fly stable, all you need is a good FCB with gyros and sensors. The Nova is a good deal though, and can be found on amazon cheaper than HK, and with free shipping too. As for the action cams...

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

My personal recommendation would be to buy the Storm Drone, the Walkera gimbal (or equivalent), and a few spare batteries (you'll need 'em). As for batteries, get 1 or 2 packs of these...

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

The Quanum Nova is actually designed to carry a camera and gimbal, and there are tons of online videos of it. It has lots of lift, so it should be no problem. Here's a gimbal option for the Nova, however, it is kind of overpriced...

I need an rtf quadcopter for aerial vide

Yeah, I noticed that HK raised the price of the Quanum Nova (was much cheaper, like you said, a couple weeks ago). If I had to choose between the two drones you chose, I'd definitely have to go for the Storm Drone, as it's well-built, and should offer plenty of lifting power. The Storm Drone...
