    jetson one

I don't know but I imagine it is simply to stop you hitting the rear props on the ground when you come into land, and do a flare to reduce forward speed. You can always see the front props so are unlikely to hit the ground with them. (Flare - tilt rearwards)

Looking for members knowledgeable in solar system i.e. 12v lithium battery, pure sine wave invert etc

Yes. 950+750=1,700w The maximum that your 100ah battery can supply is 1,200w, and that is the maximum (I am assuming that your battery at 100ah capacity can supply a max of 100 amps). You have a deficit of 1,700-1,200=500w. How Long can your 12v battery supply 100amps? Not all that long, at a...

    New to Quads

Hope you have fun with it. It sounds like it has a good camera but don't let it get too far away from you or you'll be tree climbing to retrieve it, or worse, a 'fly away'. Maybe your next one could have GPS and return to base (RTB) features.

Looking for members knowledgeable in solar system i.e. 12v lithium battery, pure sine wave invert etc

A "12v 100ah lithium battery" is going to do next to nothing for you. That's 1,200 watts for as long as it goes before discharge. If you want actual heat, a fire or a propane generator is the answer, not batteries, sorry. Heat is very energy intensive.

Mini 2 vs. Hubsan Mini Pro

I've mentioned Oxfordshire Man before. His Zino Mini Pro days have just come to an end in a strange way. This is the second one he has had that has flown a little distance and then completely failed to come back. The first was over the sea, off Madeira, so was not recovered. Has anyone else had...

SJRC F11 4K PRO WIFI NOT SHOWING UP CAMERA NOT FUNCTIONABLE

I expect that you have tried this, but a simple tip is to turn aeroplane mode on then turn the wifi on, when 'phones wont connect.

    Complete newb here... Hi

Sometimes it has helped to put the 'phones on airplane mode (in the settings) and then turn the 'phones WiFi back on before searching for the drone in the 'phone's WiFi.

    I don't need rules!

It's a good job that you have the rules of aerodynamics. :)

    Hi from Spain

I would recommend a sub 250gm model, especially if you are in the UK, because of the rules - the Hubsan is 410gms and a whopping £177. While I appreciate that there is no simple answer to this, wouldn't something around the £50 level be better to start with?

    My EACHINE X12

Is it possible that this is just faulty? I've had several cheap drones but none acted like yours. It sounds unusable.

Flight Log: Tell Us Bout Your Flights

Beautiful photos, thanks. We lived nearby for a few years. Made me quite nostalgic. PS. Syma X5C is the best tree climbing practice drone around, in my experience! I know most of the trees in my nearby wood, quite intimately!

Mini 2 vs. Hubsan Mini Pro

If anyone is thinking of buying a Mini Pro or has just bought one, I think my conversations with 'Oxfordshire Man' might be of benefit. I think we ironed out a few basic problems with this drone. I've had mine for well over a year now and althougth it is a bit quirky, it is a good camera drone...

Mini 2 vs. Hubsan Mini Pro

As MercifulPrince said: The Hubsan Zino Mini Pro looks awesome on paper. The Zino might have a higher spec camera, but the proof is in the results. If the Mini 2 gives better results, then that is the drone to go for, IMO. I do like my Zino Mini Pro, despite its quirks, but I've not owned or...

    Looking For A New Drone

I like my 249gm Zino Mini Pro, but it is a little quirky. It has a good camera and obstacle avoidance, flies well and has good battery life. I expect that the Mini3 is a little bit better, if you have the budget. From what I read, DJI models are far more polished with much better customer...

    Bugs2 camera wifi connection

A very good suggestion. It come with a controller but only one battery. I have a Zino Mini Pro which is a great little drone with a better CMOS sensor, but I've come to realise that the DJI software and maturity make the SE a much better bet. Even though its camera is not so good this is more...

    Drone with removable camera

I have a JJRC X11 (680gm), a few years old now, but I sometimes fly it with a GoPro equivalent slung underneath. My Action cam came with a strap and enough fittings to strap the cam underneath. Also, I have a handheld gimble stick (Jcrobot S5 3-Axis Handheld bluetooth Gimbal Stabilizer For...

    Zino Mini Pro Test

This was a test of my Zino Mini Pro as I had been having problems with the app and photo and video recording, which now seem solved. This was filmed in North Cornwall

Zino Mini Pro App no longer works

I had the X-Hubsan 2 app installed on my Android 10 tablet, which worked fine until it insisted on an update which repeatedly failed. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it from the app store. The new version (updated to 24 Feb 2022) covers many models but not the Mini Pro, so I can no longer...

need a drone for my grandson help

That looks like a good buy to me. It's not an Air 2 but then it is a good price. My first 'proper' drone was a JJRC X11. On its first flight, I smashed it into a wall at speed, and broke an arm. My fault entirely. Plastic glue sufficed until I got a new arm but it made me realise how robust is...
