Pacifica Pier (Ca.) shot in 4K in between storms

Thanks, but you know what sucks. The sound effect I used of the ocean was too high, so when I went back to edit it, I did not save the project, only the complete file. I have no idea what happened. I wanted a little bit more guitar and a little less ocean sound but, can't have everything :-)

    May I Get Personal?

You got me beat. I am 53 and have to admit, when I started flying my first drone just two years ago I felt kind of silly like I should not be doing that at my age. Now, I build them, love flying and think about almost nothing else..... okay, except for sex but not quite as often :-)

    quadcopter configuration opinion

I would stick to known Brands and reputable companies. I don't know if that was said later in this thread because due to my ADD I did not read all of it, but that would probably be your best bet. I bought a couple of cheap Motors off of eBay from some unknown company, and one sounded like a...

I finally got a free drone to review. Garbage!

I received over a dozen GoPro like cameras, and a couple of battery charging bags. I had a fire in one, did a good review and they sent me a couple more to review. Most of the cameras retail between 79 and $100, but I received two that were about $150. I guess you do get what you pay for it...

I finally got a free drone to review. Garbage!

One more thing I forgot to mention, the battery light charging indicator never went off. You had no way of knowing if it was fully charged. I left mine on for about four or five hours and it stayed the same. If I did not have a battery voltage meter I would have never known if it was charged...

I finally got a free drone to review. Garbage!

After watching this video I suspect they sent me a defective one. Mine was extremely hard to hover, and just plain slow. Flying It Outdoors with a slightest Breeze was impossible. Also, mine came with the wrong instruction manual, and a couple of pieces that had fallen off of the remote and...

I finally got a free drone to review. Garbage!

Well, I finally got a free drone to review instead of the usual GoPro knock-off camera. I've got a lot of those if anyone wants one cheap. PM me. Unfortunately, they sent me a piece of junk drone instead of the more expensive drone they said they were going to send. Honestly, it wasn't worth the...

Finished (95%) my 650 Iron Man build. Maiden flight video.

Very happy today. I got almost 16 minutes of flight time with a fully charged battery. I had a little voltage to spare as well. The only reason I brought her down was because I thought my voltage meter had broken. I am used to about 10 minutes on the old quad.

Finished (95%) my 650 Iron Man build. Maiden flight video.

I was a nervous wreck. Landing after a 9 minute flight was a good feeling. If I knew for sure that it was me not tightening the battery connection that caused the previous quad to crash, I would feel much better. I am almost sure that was the problem, but not being 100% sure will always be in...

Just about done with the exception of the FPV parts. First flight went well as in no crashes.

Ran my brushless motor underwater then took it apart. (video)

Hey wait a minute, I just realized you're making fun of my spaghetti wiring. Didn't need to know unless something went wrong. Well, something went wrong :-)

Ran my brushless motor underwater then took it apart. (video)

I am going to redo the wiring with new wires and new connectors. That means a lot of soldering. I take pictures of everything in case I forget where things go.

Bought a Tarot 650 ironman frame.

This kit is pretty simple and straightforward, but if I had to choose a weak link, I would say it is definitely the landing gear.

Bought a Tarot 650 ironman frame.

Lol, I will probably end up destroying this one too. This is actually my third Terot build. I have found them to be excellent kits with great quality control. Have only had minor issues with them.
