Contixo F4 WiFi FPV Altitude Hold

It's a pretty cool quad. There's so many of these altitude hold wifi quads out now, so many to choose from.

    Do you tiny whoop?

I have the original Nano QX and have been trying to catch a QX2 on eBay but those little buggers are hard to come by. Original price is too high IMHO. That little thing is an awesome flyer though.

    Do you tiny whoop?

Yep, I probably had the stock 180mah in there for this flight. I usually get a solid 4-minutes, but I also have some turnigy 260mah and I get about 5.5 - 6-minutes. The stock batteries seem to stay strong longer though if that makes any sense. I have the Eachine VR007 goggles; they were only...

    Do you tiny whoop?

Nice to see the E010 there. Here's mine. I have an FX798T camera mounted without the case and I've been getting about 4-minutes flight time.

Not sure how I got hooked, but...I got hooked

There are some cool RC planes out there, but I'm so stuck on quads that I haven't gotten one yet. XK has a cool looking one and WLToys has some inexpensive ones: the F949 is like $50 and the F959 is about $60. I've been scoping out the F959 for a while but it just won't drop in price.

Contixo F3 Altitude Hold WiFi FPV with Flight Path

This little micro quad is super fun and is packed with features. The altitude hold works perfectly and the wifi feed is relatively stable with low latency but recorded video is meh (it always is on these 2MP pin-hole cameras). Flight time is 4-4.5 minutes. It is lacking in a few things like...

Sounds like you have something from every "genre" in your hangar. Glad to know I'm in good company.

Not sure how I got hooked, but...I got hooked

I wasn't thinking about a quadcopter, rc plane or anything else controlled by a transmitter. Back in April I bought a Cheerson CX-10C for like $15 on a website called Meh, just because. Man, after flying that thing around the house a couple hundred times I needed more. I had to have more...

My GPS Quad Journey - From the Crash to Grief Recovery

Time to Find Out What We Can Really Do With This Thing For my 3rd flight of the Upair One, I wanted to see what kind of video footage I could capture. I was already impressed with the stability of the video from my previous two flights, but I wanted to be a little more deliberate this time...

My GPS Quad Journey - From the Crash to Grief Recovery

Confidence Slowly Returning I was probably a bit more critical than I normally would have been considering the circumstances that preceded my flight with the Upair. The stability issues didn't help of course. A GPS quad with no manual method for calibration...hmm, whose idea was that? Well...

My GPS Quad Journey - From the Crash to Grief Recovery

Post Crash Recovery After getting my refund from HobbyKing, I was on the hunt for another quad that would not bust my budget. I went with the Upair One 2K and I am so happy I did. It made it past 2-flights, so my enthusiasm began to return. I had fun with unboxing, setting up and getting...

My GPS Quad Journey - From the Crash to Grief Recovery

This is a story about my experience with GPS quads told with a series of videos. Comments, questions and feedback are welcomed. So, my first ever GPS quad was the XK Detect X380-C. I caught an amazing deal from HobbyKing for about $200! I was so excited for this thing, but I didn't actually...

Study Break with the Eachine E010 - Whoop Whoop!

This little E010 is legit. Mounted an FX798T camera, removed the camera casing and I'm getting about 4-minutes of solid flight time.
