Thought about buying one but decided on the tarantula x6 because of the reports on fly aways.

Call Horizon Hobby and tell them you got 3 flights on it and the motor quit. Don't mention your hard crash. You can also email them but they are pretty slow in answering.

I was expecting it to be bigger than the X5C-1 but I didn't know excatly how much bigger. The size differed depending on where you read it. As it turned out it's 349.25 mm blade center to blade center on opposing blades. Thanks for the link, looks like some interesting video.

Try turning the motors by hand. Do the front 2 seem stiffer than the rear? Off hand I think you have 2 bad motors. I had a similar issue with my Nano QX 3D and as it turned out 2 of the blades were reversed.

Personally I never charge using a computer USB port. I use old cell phone bricks or something similar. Try the charger for your cell phone. I will agree with others the Syma X5c-1 is a great quad for the money. Flies well and doesn't break easy. For indoor flying I like my Syma X11
