    Performance Props

If you want more handling I recommend 3 bladed props for sure... If you have a RC Hobby shop near you try picking up a few pairs of 5040x3 or 5045x3 props. You will be amazed what a difference it makes. Just remember the ESCs you have are only rated at 12Amps, so don't punch your throttle to...

    Performance Props

OK! So the Eachine Racer comes stock with 5040 props. If you are having a hard time with handling or want more flight time try putting some 5030 props on. If you want to try and make your quad a bit more aggressive try putting 5040x3 or 5045x3 props on it. Adding that 3rd prop will reduce your...

    what props ?

From the looks of it your motors can draw 15 amps max. So I wouldn't recommend going any bigger on the props. If you feel like you need more stability or battery life you can try a 10x4. 10x4 / 1040 (Same thing to answer your question) : This will require your motors to spin faster for the same...

    Performance Props

I'm not sure about pitch but a 3 bladed prop is going to grip the air harder than a 2 bladed prop for sure. But if your using a 5040 2 blade i would try using a 5030 3 blade. Just to make sure you don't over draw your motors. Do you know the frame size in mm and the motor size? I might be able...

    ??? about lipo batteries

If that ever happens to me i use a flight simulator to get my fix. The Freerider software is free and works decent for being free... As long as your transmitter came with a Aux or USB that can hook up to your PC you can use it for the simulator. Here is a link to it if you want to give it a...

Also, try to look at the thickness of the prop you're getting. A 5040 Gemfan is lighter than a 5040 Dalprop(as an example) although the Dalprop is quite more durable. 1806/2300kv motors have a hard time with the thicker 5inch props but 2204/2300kv motors would be fine. (This is to the best of my...

    Let's Discuss Launch Sites

I usually just fly at my local park if no one is around and keep it close. But if i ever want to try pushing my limits with LoS there is a decent size regional park about 10 minutes from my house with an "undefined air field" that a lot of people go to fly models and quads. (El Dorado) in Long...

so you want a quadcopter or multirotor

I have some dys 1806 motors and had some 30A simonk escs that have no use. I know the dys motors can only handle 7.6A as long as I don't over thrust the motors won't burn out right? If this won't work please let me know I'd rather not blow motors out just to save 20$ or so. Thanks :)

    Quick question.

Thanks! Is there a way to program the ESCs Max output by any chance? I am building on the cheap and i can't really afford to blow motors lol :] Also, my naze32 has a constant red blinking light next to the blue light. I've read that this might go away when I bind my transmitter. But after...

    Quick question.

Can I solder a 18 awg wire from esc to a 22 awg motor wire? Ways to avoid blowing the motor?
