    My first drone

Two excellent choices! I would like to get. Ahold of that Mi drone. I have the H31; great cheap quad that you can fly all winter. Congrats!

Hubsan X4 H502E Desire Cheap GPS Drone with Camera - Can't beat the price!

I'm impressed by this little bird. I wish the camera were better, but for about the same price as an X5C you get GPS and true return to home.

I haven't flown that one so I'm not sure. It has more features though.

DJI Phantom 4 Pros and Cons

Oh great, I keep hearing that so glad to get more confirmation. Can't wait till Friday.

    My first drone

I say both, but if I had to choose between the two it would be the X16 for video/photography and the Bugs 3 for performance and occasional video/photography. I mainly fly my Bugs sporty and fast since it doesn't have altitude hold.

DJI Phantom 4 Pros and Cons

I picked up a refurb for $699 yesterday. Not sure if they're still that price. Couldn't pass it up. Refurbs get the exact same warranty as new drones and from what I've seen/heard from others, they look brand new. Mine will be here Friday. I'll be testing everything and documenting it with...

    My first drone

You can't go wrong with either one of these: (Bayangtoys X16) OR as others have mentioned (Bugs 3). The thing I like about the X16 is it has GPS. The Bugs 3 is a great inexpensive bird as well. In the video I have my Gitup Git2 Action Cam mounted. Curious what you think about these.

Bayangtoys X16 - The BEST Budget GPS Brushless Quadcopter

I would say, maybe. You could rig up a decent 4k cam and set it to take shots at a set interval, that would take care of the lack of a way to initiate it from the controller. For real estate I don't imagine you needing to fly at high altitude so you could probably keep the quad pretty still for...

Just got the Furibee X215 Pro...Anybody have one?

https://www.gearbest.com/brushless-fpv-racer/pp_708379.html I have several micro racers that I have practiced acro flying with. I have also been using a simulator to help with getting muscle memory with the sticks and I'm pretty comfortable at this point. So, I'm moving up and this is my first...

SYMA x56W. Why are there no reviews?

Here's my review: To answer your question, it is easy to fly like the X5C and it is super docile in the low rate. This one has altitude hold though, so you won't need to manage throttle as much. I wouldn't put it on any top 10 list, but it's a decent quad. Range is pretty limited though...

Automated Airspace Authorizations for Commercial Operators

More info here---->https://www.airmap.com/airspace-authorization/ This is only available at a limited number of airports thus far, but this is a great step in the right direction. The current authorization process is pretty inefficient. This will hopefully expand to other airspace in the near...

    4k action cam upgrade suggestions?(Syma X8 series)

The Xiaomi Mi is a great bird at a great price; I've been thinking about grabbing one. However, if you already have a Syma X8 (I have an X8G), and plan on continuing to fly it (like I do), the Gitup Git2 action cam works well. You can get one for about $120. Here's an example of the kind of...

JJRC H37 Mini Baby Elfie 720P HD Foldable Pocket Drone Review

I was kind of surprised by how easy this Baby Elfie is to fly and the camera quality is much better than a lot of quads in the same "selfie" category. Video and photo resolution looks best when viewing on your phone. This one performs well for the sub-$50 price. PROS: -Decent photo and video...

Bayangtoys X16 - The BEST Budget GPS Brushless Quadcopter

You can actually turn the GPS off on this one. When GPS is off it uses the barometer for altitude hold. Why would you do this? Well, if you're in an area where you can't get a GPS lock, flying indoors, etc. Or, if you want to fly a bit faster.

Bayangtoys X16 - The BEST Budget GPS Brushless Quadcopter

Bottom line, I highly recommend this GPS quadcopter. For the price, I don't think you can do much better in a GPS camera quadcopter with brushless motors that can carry GoPro sized action cameras. So far, the Bayangtoys X16 is the best cheap GPS quadcopter with brushless motors that I have...

If you're looking for an easy way to get into FPV then RedPawz R011 is a great way to do it. This one gets my highest recommendation for beginners just getting into FPV and also those that just want a one-stop shop budget micro fpv package. You will need to do a simple mod by pulling the...

JIESTAR X8TW SkyHunter Review - Foldable and Truly Compact

There are tons of these foldable quadcopters out there now, but I like the X8TW SkyHunter because everything folds up, including the landing gear. This makes it a truly compact foldable quad. It has altitude hold, wifi fpv, auto-take-off, auto-land and it flies very stable.

JJRC H33 Review - A Really Good No Frills Budget Quadcopter

Typical huh? Well I still have my Syma X5C from a year ago and haven't had to replace anything on it yet. Not even motors. As a matter of fact I still have an old JJRC H8C which is an amazing quad. Guys were burning the motors out on that thing left and right. Mine is still flying strong. I...
