    I think the parts to build it came to something around $250 -$300. That is minus the Batteries, Transmitter and goggles. So if you have that stuff already you can save some cash. I probably spent $700ish which is still actually cheap for just getting started....

    First time flying 5" quad and I crash into my head

    Yup.. Built a 5" quad. Brought it out to the local park today to try it out. I brought my cam because I was going to film my self flying for the first time on Air-mode no level. I was doing pretty good. I flew around the ball field pretty well. I got adventurous and smashed right into the side...
