I agree with RENOV8R, it's likely you've wasted the RX. You have to be careful to not supply it too much voltage or reversed polarity. :(

Given there's two quads, one is a 5" with a bad motor and a bad ESC; the other is 6" with only a bad FC, the easiest and most expedient fix would be to remove the FC from the 5" quad and install it into the 6" quad. ;)
