Damn......found some good areas where I could safely(as far as open ground) get up and get some good shots of NOLA. But I just can't bring myself to break basic rules and I do use the app from the FAA to check flight spaces. OH well..........wanted to spend time with kids and grandkids...

If you can figure out what the problem is, you can probably correct it. Most of the toy grade drones are fixable. Just need to figure out what's wrong and worst case scenario, order some parts.
Hey Tony...........hate to be the bearer of bad news. The X8HG does not do FPV. You need a standalone system of one form or another. This is how I did it. In a hurry and kinda slap-dash, but it works.

Just somethings I discovered................
Make sure all other switches are in the off position before you flip the Arm switch.
Make sure the throttle is all the way "down".
Set the quad down on a relatively level surface and give it 5 to 10 seconds before Arming to give the gyro/accel time...
I seen you blowing thru those Stop signs................but I gotta say........that was some fine flying....I especially love those 'sliding turn' you were doing..............
