Just did a little research . Looks like it's what you need. My guess is that the pigtail on this VTX is only meant to plug into certain quads so it can be controlled via the transmitter. What you may have to do is modify how the display mounts to the transmitter. 51 bucks sounds good .....same...

Hold down the red bottom & turn tx on (button still pressed). Release button. After 8 seconds, beep, install battery ,beeps , calibrate .

I'd recommend the MJX Bugs2C. GPS , rth, headless, 1080p, 1000m range ,etc.. Great quadcopter for under 200 bucks .

All of my quads have my FAA registration number on them just in case. A buzzer does sound like a good idea, though. At least with gps, I could use the telemetry on the transmitter.
