Hi!
I will use this thread also to expose two problems I am having with this same drone (I am not able to answer to the question of Therbla, as I am a newby).
I own this model of drone since one year ago, but I have not used it in a long time.
The last time I used it, I crashed it agains a tree and it broke one of its arms after falling to the ground. I purchased the arm replacement and installed it.
Note that it is not possible to install the wrong arm as they all are different each others. The same occurs with propellers.
After assembling again the drone, I started it to check that the new motor works (the cables are properly soldered).
When I tried to take off with the drone, it didn't do it in vertical direction but with a very heavy drift and I have to do an emergency landing.
During the operation, there was an abnormal noise. That noise was simmilar to a propeller hitting a part of the body, but I have checked them several times and they are properly installated and there isn't any interference.
I had the Hypoitesis that one of the propellers (the corresponding to the new arm) is rotating in opposite direction and the propeller is bent donwards and contacts the arm. But I am pretty sure that all the motors were rotating in the correct direction (alternated oposite directions).
Now here comes the second problem:
After some time with the drone stored in a drawer, I wanted to dedicate some time to it. I wanted to be sure that all the motors rotate in the correct direction or the new one is reversed. But I haven't been able to turn the transmitter on. I have connected it to the USB charger for several hours but it seems to be dead.
I am thinking of purchasing a replacement battery, but I am not able to open dissassemble the remote controller. There isn't any screw, and I tried to insert a fine screwdriver in joints between parts, but I hadn't success.
¿Any idea/suggestion?
Thank you in advance
