Looks like a decent drone. Unfortunately I don't have the answer to your problem but I think your better off joining a Facebook group to find a solution.
I think this place is dead.
I joined this forum 10 years ago but my posts were basically ignored, mostly I believe because the drone I had was basically a toy.
I recently bought a DJI mini 2 which I now hope qualifies me as a proper drone owner.
I've noticed a little vertical play in the props on my X5C, about 1mm or so.
Would there be any advantage in taking up the slack by removing the props and fitting tiny washers? I'd obviously leave a hairs width of play so they were still able to rotate.
Would it make things smoother/less noisy?
Paypal dispute started on the 25th. I did have a real tracking number by the way but you should see the vague garbled cryptic crap every time I try to use it.
I find it frustrating but also funny that the fact that I've informed them that I'm not prepared to wait any longer and about the paypal...
It's now past 33 BUSINESS days since my order, 46 actual days.
I did get a tracking number although I fail to see how that would speed up the process and as for paying for faster shipping, I doubt it would have made any difference given the responses I've had so far.
That's the longest I've had...
Even though I've now asked for a refund twice, they seem to be ignoring me, insisting the package is on its way.

I get the same lame response each time I enquire where they are so my last communication was to request a refund.
I'll try...
I know I'm digging up this thread but I'd like to be honest and add a little balance to the discussion.
I've been trying to order batteries for my X5C-1 from Gearbest and I kept hitting a brick wall with the shipping options, as in they didn't give me any on the order screen. This left me...
I've not been flying my X5C-1 long so I never had headless mode but even I am now capable of banking and spirals etc.
I understand headless mode if this is your first foray into this hobby though.
To add a little balance here, GearBest are my go to suppliers.
Everything quad copter related I've purchased so far has come from them, mainly due to the recommendations from Quadcopter 101 on youtube.
On a slightly more serious note, I just watched a major consumer advice programme on TV here in the UK.
'Drones' and the dangers of them were featured quite heavily indeed, most notably there was a story about a toddler who suffered the loss of an eye in an incident. It didn't once mention the...
