    I have a motor question. When I arm the motors only three of the motors seem to want to spin. Can you give me some ideas on how to resolve the problem?

    Sorry for the delay in responding to this. I don't get alerts for stuff on my profile page. I only see it when I look at my profile, which I don't do much. Next time, feel free to report stuff like this with the "report" link that shows up under the post. Or you can message me directly, then I'll get an alert. I will also start checking here.     It looks like holtniel removed it from public view though. I agree with you and him completely. I don't like (or trust) the redirect through adfly and I would have marked the whole thing as spam/malware and removed it if I saw it.

    Thanks for reporting stuff like this to me though! I try to read every thread to keep SPAM out, but I miss some sometimes.

    I change the default pages on all my servers to a static html page that just says "go away". If I don't do that, they show the directory stucture of apache on the web server.

    Hey, this questions been kinda puzzling me for a few days and I feel like there's an explanation: Why isn't there a "Stator" on quadcopter's that's sole purpose is for recharging the battery?

    Is anything charging the batteries inflight?

    Because what you're talking about is perpetual motion. You can never get the return out of the generators for the power you put into the motor, and certainly not while trying to fly. The drag of the generator is too much.

    Oh yeah, and at best, you might be able to get something out of solar cells, but the weight would be a huge penalty and it also probably wouldn't be efficient enough.

    @trailhead I agree mostly, but there are now solar cells that are thin as wall paper, but you still could not get the needed return because they charge at low amperage, but if you had something as big as a the kraken you would have a good chance.

    Can I suggest a sticky posting for the "Newb Guides" section? A downloadable "Glossary of Terms". I did a fair bit of RC plane flying a few years ago but I'm still finding myself wondering what all the abbreviations / terms mean, and spending (wasting?) a fair bit of time finding out what they all mean.
    I'd let you have mine but it's still in the early stages :-(
