OUCH crash photos

Ow. That smarts. Did that once with my "American R/C Helicopter Revolution" in about '81 or '82.

There was a crash video by an R/C shop that taught people to fly helicopters. It was set to the tune of "Another one bites the dust!" At model airplane trade shows, it would show at different helicopter vendor booths and was pretty fun. In the middle, the music suddenly stops and is replace by soft, classical, slow music and a picture of a farm pond in a nice peaceful scene. Then, a naked child walks past the camera and wades out into the water. About knee deep, he turns around and faces the camera. Then bends down and pics up a $2000 Schluter SR 81 helicopter out of the water. "ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!"

Unfortunately my "best/worst" crashes have typically ejected the battery and when that happens the runcam split forgets the last few seconds of what happened (much like the trauma victim that it is) so not a ton of video of the best ones really.

A year ago this month. Hit a cable while going up that I thought I was past. I always make certain when flying around cables and lines now :cool:P1040178.JPGP1040179.JPGP1040180.JPG

My new Tyro79 fell from 75 feet up onto the pavement and suffered a broken arm, destroyed motor, vtx antenna ripped off the board, and the micro runcam case is cracked yet still working. New frame and motor on their way, she will fly again lol.20190627_180629(1).jpg

I saw a dude fly a bugs 3 that looked like that think it was only the wires holding it in lol. Surprisingly flew fairly well.

Hi only Goblins have the plastic tail boom bolts so the tail snaps away saves the cost of the tail boom at £50
Yes Helis are fragile on average cost of a small crash of a 500 is about £70 to £150 on a 700 size like mine it's about £550 you need help pockets lol

Starting out so after losing my mind trying to fly a sema x5 I got a hubsan x4
Can't Express how much fun crashing it is.
