Transmitter/receiver trouble

Okay so I'm new both here and to quads. I've got a DYS 250 and I've tried both Flysky FS-TH9X and a FS-I6X transmitters and whenever I attempt to use the LibrePilot GCS to set the quad up I get the message "No Actuvity" in Receiver Activity. I've tried different receivers and obviously I've tried different transmitters. The quad has a CC3D installed from the factory. Any ideas so I can get this thing flying would be helpful! Thanks sorry if I put this in the incorrect area.

A couple of times. The receiver green light continues to flash though. Any ideas? It did the same thing with both transmitters and multiple receivers attempts.

Hey RG...........if the Tx and Rx bind, there should be a change in the light on the Rx...............

I have that solid red light, but the green light next to it on the receiver flashes. Also the Libre pilot shows that it is not receiving any activity from the transmitter.

Then there is a "break" between the Rx and the Flight Controller. Even though the Rx is receiving power, that does not mean the signal is getting thru. Can you get a pic of the Rx and Flight Controller showing how they are connected??

When I set up the quad on LibrePilot I set it up for PPM. I'm about to replace the CC3D and see if something is wrong with that unit. This was supposed to be an ARF unit, but it is getting to be more of a pain in the ass than anything! I just want to get it up in the air!

Hold up RG...............are you aware that you have to turn "PPM" on in the Rx using the Tx??

Not sure if this is going to help or not.
Wow............I'm just curious..........why so many wires if you are using "PPM"? I have a different FC but I only have one set of servo wires.........
That could be your problem.............

Okay so the info about the transmitter I did not know. I've set the transmitter up for PPM. Now im going to attempt the computer set up again. Fingers crossed. I also rechecked the wiring and it is correct.

Ok, the problem is RG, if you have "PPM" turned on, you only need one 3-wire connector between your Rx and your CC3D.............

And with PPM turned on, that may be why the "Update" light on your Rx is on........because of the extra wires you don't need...........
