What is the Controller Distance for a Phantom 2?

Can you gentlemen please share what the expected travel distance is for a Controller on the Phantom 2 or a quadcopter of similar characteristics? Thanks

Depends on where you are.
if you are in a FCC permit area then you can operate the remote transmitter in FCC mode that will give you 1000mtrs per the manufacture spec.
or of you are in a EU permit area then you will have 300mtr respectively.
