Want to learn on a Micro for a N00B

Hi, I just joined, and am just getting interested in the hobby. I am currently wanting to learn on a Micro Quad. And the question I have, that I am assuming is getting annoying to most of the veterans is: Which one?!?!
I have narrowed it down (but not hell bent on) The Syma x12, the Cheerson CX-10 and the Hubsan X4.

In my limited research it seems like everyone seems to like the X4 the most. However the Syma has a few options I like better (including the price). I have found the Syma x12 and the Cheerson CX-10 for less than $30 and the Hubsan for around $40 ish. Would like to spend as little as possible but I am willing to spend a little more for a more quality, easier to learn on copter. If anyone can throw out opinions and/or other quads that are in that price range that are quality and easy to learn on. Thanks in advance!
 
Hi mate i went for the hubsan as i had one for 2 years still flys ,but the new CX10 is getting great reviews
The Hubsan x4 was the first micro quad and most have cloned it , but its still good and the new one with FPV is great

a few more questions, I have decided on the Cheerson CX-10, however I have also come across the Cheerson CX-10A with headless mode? What is Headless mode?
 
Hi mate its chinglish ,I think its course lock mode its says there is no need to adjust angle of quad on take off YES They nicked the course lock off the DJI phantom
So what it does is say you take off with quad facing away from you , and then yaw right you can then rotate the quad but it will carry on flying side ways to the right no matter what way it faces

NO trim so its stable in a hover , then use course lock this will keep quad on the course you set it on to even if you spin the quad , in rc helis its call piros ( thats on the spot spin360) travelling piro is spinning 360 non stop as you fly in one direction
 
Is that Cheerson smaller than the Hubsan X4? If so, I'd be hesitant. I haven't flown the Cheerson, but I've flown the Proto-X and found it much harder to fly than the Hubsan. And much less fun. Those tiny little things might be "cute" but they're really too small to be fun. I really think the Hubsan X4 size is about perfect for a "micro" quad.

It's a little more money, but you should also look at the Blade Nano QX. I love my Hubsan, but the Blade Nano QX has a couple of benefits over the Hubsan. It has integrated prop guards. So you can bump into walls and ceilings and it will just push away rather than instantly crashing. It has an "acro" mode which turns self leveling off. Great way to practice flying that way. The Hubsan can not turn auto-level off like the Blade can. And the Blade will bind with any Spektrum/DSM2 based radio. So you can fly it with a D6i, or a Taranis or Hitec transmitter if you ever upgrade to one of those. The Hubsan (and Proto-X and Cheerson) uses a proprietary radio so you can only use the controller they come with.

The Blade is a little more expensive, but may be worth it.
