Hi to everyone. I am a relative newb in that I do own a Walkera Ladybird, but placing an order for a Phantom 2 today with gimbal. The problem I am having is with the Ladybird.
I ordered this from a dealer on the west coast and I can't get any support from him at all. The Ladybird flew one time out of the box and then I put it away for a week or so. When I went to fly it again the transmitter would not mate with the Ladybird.
I contacted the seller and he said if it worked once then he won't assist. What I ended up doing was just turn on the Ladybird and xmitter according to the manual, and then I would go through a sequence of positioning switches. It would take a while but the bird would eventually come to life. However once I turned it off, I would have to repeat this process to get it to fly again.
Finally it just stopped working and does not respond to any inputs from the transmitter at all. The dealer still won't assist. My question is - Is there anyway to reprogram or reset the transmitter or Ladybird so that it is set to factory default? I have a relatively decent transmitter but if I can't get the bird to fly then it's pretty much worthless.
Whether you spend $100 or $1000, it should still work for longer than one flight before it stops working. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I am ordering a Phantom 2, but it would be nice to have the Ladybird to fly inside.
Cheers,
Howster
