Syma X8HC Altitude Hold Disable?

I am considering the purchase of a Syma X8HC. I have an X5SW and would like a bigger bird.

Can the altitude hold on this new model be disabled? I would like to have the capability but most of the time I would like it to operate like my X5. If is is possible to disable it, is there a way to make the throttle not be spring loaded?

Why don't you move past the Syma toys. This, with brushless motors, is getting a lot of decent reviews. Fast and powerful and able to easily lift full size action cams .

I converted my X8g to a X8hg & cannot see anyway to stop the altitude hold ,if you want the X8 without alt hold just buy the 8G the camera is much better than the 2.0 mp camera on the x8c
