Syma 8XC Modification

Hello I have a 8XC Syma which I don't fly anymore because it only have a high low rate and I like the wltoys transmitters with the 40 60 an 100%. I use a updated one for my tarantula x6 i wanted to know could I replace the flight board with Wltoys flight board but still X8C MOTORS so I could use the same transmitter
 
Maybe, as long as the replacement board is also a 7.4V design.

If I'm reading your post right you have already swapped out your stock X6 board?
 
No me and a friend was at the park flying around and he has v666 quadcopter it comes with the black and grey transmitter he saw a video on youtube saying that the tarantula X 6 works on the same protocols as his does and we try to bind it to my quadcopter and it did so I orded me that type of remote cuz I like the feel of it and it works perfectly

Well do you like the way his V666 flys or do you prefer the your X6 with the new controller?
 
They both are good flyers I've only been flying quadcopters for about 2 months thinking it was just like flying RC planes to me flying RC planes is much easier the only reason I got the tarantula x6 because it was a little smaller and was trying to still learn how to fly the first quadcopter I get was the a Smya 8XC because it looked like the phantom but the x6 flies way better than the Syma 8XC so instead of letting it collect dust on the shelf I was trying to see could i switch out the flight controller to see how he does
 
You are comparing 2 different quads, the X6 is a lighter acrobatic flyer, that fat Syma is made to tug around a camera.

Well the X6 is also a 7.4V quad, I imagine you should be able to figure out how to install it's board into the Syma, the LED/indicators may take a little while though and you'll probably lose any camera control. You might also consider transplanting the V666 board over.
