Download the manul and read it through before going into the KK2.

You may want to start off using Steveis Beginner version if not update to the latest version and you will need to get conversant with the PID settings - coz I have not installed one yet that does not need messing about with - unless you are an experienced flyer of quads.
The latest stable version is crammed with adjustable settings - I suggest you go through everything to see whats on offer and to get used to teh menu layout BUT basically - to start you off - you will need to use :- ACC Calibration first - the Receiver Test menu to make sure your TX left is left etc.
Set the motors to X quadcopter or whatever configuration your quad.
DO NOT have props on when doing your checks and changes.
To ARM the motors
This will be useful when you have problems!

FYI. you would be wise IF you mount the KK2 on the top deck - to cover it in some impact absorbing foam - if it flips over.. it can damage the KK2/ break the LED screen.
