Just got my first quadcopter and am having issues, a lot of them! I purchased the JJRC X12 and it will not connect to the app. I cannot find satellites or really much of anything :/. Can anyone assist me please

Try C-Fly from Goggle Play Store. It's good for your X12.

P.S. Adding...… In case you don't know. Your smartphone has to be able to support 5g wifi transmission. Otherwise you have an expensive drone you cannot play with.

Do not use the Enjoy fly app, because it made my JJRC x12 go crazy and slam into a tree and break. I'm in the process of shipping it back right now.

This also happened to others! Use the c fly app

Good news problem solved
Bought x12 arura 5 days ago and the aircraft won't connect to GPS and showed 0 or n/a all time and didn't went to position mode so just able to put on altitude mode to manual fly . And now time to give u solution with honor. Its very simple but killed me to find .the problem was my phones .I'm using a Samsung note 20 ultra and galaxy note 10 .it seems the app is not updated and don't match with new phones . Just used iPhone 7 and problem totally solved and GPS find

For connecting issue
First turn drone on then turn rc on
Now wait till light on drone blink green
Then goto WiFi on your phone and connect to drone
Now run the app c fly
Go to setting and pair rc as well
Now close the app connect WiFi to rc
Run the app again and enjoy
Don't forget to calibrate it before flying
If you haven't GPS go out side if problem not solved easily change your phone and use other you will remember me for this valuable solution
