So I ordered up these P4 prop guards from online. They were advertised as being for the Phantom 4. They arrived in due course and I popped them right on with no problem. They just snapped right into place. I flew the P4 and everything went fine with them on. Then I tried to get them off. No can do. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the darn things OFF. I am reluctant to force them too much for fear of damaging the drone itself.
Since I got them and put them on, I have noticed they are not the standard type of prop guards you get from DJI. I thought they were when I ordered them, but they are not. Still, they fit perfectly. It's just that I can't get them off and so long as I can't get them off, I can't put the drone into the big, fancy case I bought for it.
Note that when I installed the guards, I didn't have to unscrew anything or punch anything out. They just snapped right on. I notice in looking at YouTube videos on P4 prop guard installation, you DO have to disassemble the motor screws and/or punch out the clear plastic thingy near the end of each leg of the drone.
I will try to post a screen shot, but have been having a lot of trouble doing that.
So - anyone have any ideas?
