Hi,
Took a quick look and can't find anything confirming what I am after so here is my thinking, looking for advice and confirmation it is sound.
Looking to build and fly FPV racing quads, probably looking at something like eMax nighthawk 250
So I am new to the hobby, don't want to lay out vast sums to find I am truly rubbish or don't enjoy it, so want to build up,
To start with bought an X4 107c, mastered shredding my fingers and moved on to 107d, displaying unrivalled natural instinct to make the wrong choice between looking at the screen and looking directly at copter at any given moment of crisis.
My thinking runs thus:
Next step get the blade nano qx fpv. A little pricey but comes with fat shark teleporter v4 goggles
Next step by a better transmitter (6 or 8 channel)
Final step buy and assemble a 250 racing quad
In between each step I have a flyable copter with new features to get used to, and thus a gap between shopping sprees
So does that all sound sensible?
Are the teleporters any use for racing quads?
Any recommendation for the transmitter?
Any recomendations for tool kits?
The following seems relevant;
I did my degree in electronic computer systems
That was over 20 years ago, I haven't soldered anything since
My reactions have .. erm.. Mellowed with time, in my head I am Charpu, IRL I am more Chaplin
Thanks
