I don't have that much experience with drones (only flied those cheap wifi camera ones), and now I decided to build one for long range cinematography/"fpv", so I picked everything and just want to know if nothing is wrong or there is cheaper/better options.
The frame: I was looking for something bigger for stability, and stumbled in two options, Jmt j630 630mm and Hskrc XL9, two different types of structure but the first one cost the double but seems suitable for the use that I intent.
The motors: This 3508 580KV 3-6S JMT MT3508 seems a pretty good deal, although it's quite big for XL9 will work for j630.
Propellers: Depends on wich frame is choosen, but would be the biggest that could fit without touching each other.
Flight controller and ESC (for me the bundle seems better):f722s + 50a ESC
GPS: Ublox neo m8n.
Battery: 4s 14.8v 5200mah 40c.
Controller + F9m module: As my first build, I need one and I was very indecise between Frsky x9 Lite and Frsky QX7, but I decided to go with QX7 because it's F9m module have a external power input, so for long range I don't have the risk of running out of power quickly.
And the module will be this bundle R9m + R9 Slim+, with both of these I expect a pretty good range.
FPV:This one Iflight 5.8g 1W claims to have 10km+ range, hope that's true.
Camera and gimble: I'll use Xiaomi Seabird or Yi with AV output for FPV, with 3 axis gimble..
