My Dad invented a lighting device for himself that will solve with your orientation on your Quadcopter to help with confidence over long distances, I persuaded him to share his invention, check it out:http://www.ebay.com/itm/171485719280

Hi mate sorry to tell you this i had lights on my quad 2 years ago and i fitted them to my sons over a year back
 
No we are not, but you cant invent what is all ready out there and have been for years , sorry not being funny with you
DJI have been making head light for the phantom for a long time , LED strip light have been for sale in hobby king for years , may be you should not use the word invent , its good what your Dad has made and looks really good , and if he had made them years back i would had got some off him would had save me making some :)
