I trust you have seen a vid review on YT - testing shows it can drop the TX and keep going! Check quadcopter 101 on YT.
I started an order - but having seen the review and with my luck with quads - I opted out till the problem - if indeed it is one - is sorted!
Sorry... wet blanket and all that!
Yes it does keep running when the tx is off, cuts down to idle on mine which actually is not enough for it to fly,I almost wonder if they intended it as a fail safe so it may come down slower if radio signal is lost.As seen inb my video here I shut the tx off and it cuts throttle down but not enough power for the quadcopter to fly,so maybe as I said they did this so it wont drop immediatly, however it could possibly drift.
Sounds pretty logical when you have hands on....in his review, quadcopter101 did the test hand held - so perhaps he did not "feel" the difference between flight power and idle - I dont suppose he wanted to hand hold "flight power" but I can understand him not wanting flyaway.
I will be interested in more of your hands on experience. I was about to send off for this and the MJX X500 until I saw that review.
