Futaba receiver with DJI DJ6 controller

A friend recently gave me a heavily modded phantom 1 or 2 and I'm trying to get it flying again. It has a Futaba r7008sb reciever, and a DJI DJ6 controller, but they're not connected. Can these be connected? If so, how?

Hi I don't think you can different protocol ,you need a dji reciver. See if you can get a naza receiver off eBay second hand

I already have a NAZA Multi Rotor V2 thing (it looks like the red box in the picture, but mine is orange). Do I still need the other half of the kit?

That's a nice setup. You could leave it as is and purchase a Futaba transmitter. But that would be the more costly option

Have a look for a second transmitter , it would be better in the long run as you can add loads of models into the transmitter , or your land up with loads of models and transmitters to carry around when flying
