Father, son caught by surprise as drone shot out of sky

People are nuts. So if someone has a phone out and the camera happens to be pointing in a direction of someone, is it okay for that person to pull out a gun and start shooting at the phone camera? Seems like it could fall under unlawful discharge of a firearm or reckless use of a firearm, property damage with a firearm.
