Defective ESC?

Finally got my radio and today's the day I get my 250 build off the ground. For first time setting it up, everything is going quite well! Everything is calibrated so I went into motor check and thought, this is just too easy. Motors 1 to 3 spun up nicely. Then yeah you guessed it motor 4 - nothing. I can change inputs any order but it's always the same motor. So I've got 5A going in to the ESC (Emax SimonK 12A) and red LED is on but nothing coming out the other side with the slider at max throttle. So my question is, could there be any possibility this is a calibration thing, or probably definitely for sure a bad ESC?

Hi mate try and swap the esc on to a motor that works so this will tell you if its the ESC or the motor

Yes, I meant 12V. Just switched and the motor is fine. Can only be a bad ESC. Just ordered a new set, should be here Tuesday.

So I've got a set of Lumenier 12A N-Fet ESCs. For once I read the instructions LOL and noticed there's a firm warning that you can remove 3 of the 4 red power wires, but you MUST run the ground wire for all 4 to the FCB. Glad I read this before I chopped them all off!

Hi thats right all ESCs need signal and ground wire its just 3 do not need the power wire only the one that powers the FCB
