Building my first drone (hexacopter)

Am building bigger hexacopter and will be my first drone that I will be using mainly for shooting videos
and I stumbled on AliExpress zd 850 kit from readytosky but I see very little info on internet about such kits is it good to buy kits like this? And flight controller included is DJI naza M-lite
Now if everything is good the only thing am missing is
1) transmitter which am looking at TX12-MKii and receiver that I have not yet decided but am looking for long range something like 20km

2) battery am looking at 24v in range of 120ah that i will be building it at home from 18650 cells i have.

Now I would be very open to any ideas and thoughts on this idea and any type of suggestions.

Start small if this is your first build and learning to fly and configure things smaller is better 3" or 5" quad much better place to start to learn how to tune things and wire it all up etc bigger they are harder they fall and big props and components are relatively costly to replace.
