Brand new with this, like just serious today

Hey everyone, my uncle is really big in the helicopter area. I want to eventually build my own, but wanted a good place to start. I was looking at the Protocol Manta Pro-6 at best buy, if I got that as a starting point then in a couple months after flying extensively, I could build my own... Does that sound like a good idea?

Starting cheap to learn the basics is best. At BB the only Manta I saw was this $80 one.

No real information. What type/size battery? You need a couple more. Props? do you get spares, can you buy more?

Yeah the $80 one is the one I was looking at. I just want to learn the basic controls of it, I have no clue how to fly one, and it shows lol. I was planning on learning on it then returning it within the 15 days (suckas!) so I can at least get something down with how to fly a quad!
