Hello fellow UAV Pilots! I'm a newbie to this forum and a newbie to flying too. Bought my first drone this week, a Hubsan X4 Desire. The first 2 flights (12 min each) were great, for a cheap drone I thought it was wonderful. I had a few little crashes but nothing bad, the rotors are fine - spinning freely, no visible damage to anything that I can see, but on it's 3rd outing it handled completely differently, especially when trying to go forward with any speed, it seems to lag, feels like it's trying to fly into strong head wind but there isn't any, and when I let go of the controls it drifts around like a puck (not up and down though) and I have to work to get it to stay in the same area, on the first 2 goes it would stay dead still and return to the same position if you pushed it with your hand.
The X4 makes you calibrate the compass every time you switch it on, which it has no problem with, Ive also done the horizontal calibration and the transmitter calibration too, but it's still all over the place - any ideas before I head back to the store?
Many thanks.
